Partners and programmes, Eastern Africa

<- Back to all Partners

In Eastern African we run two programmes:

The Adequate and Housing Programme – Advocating women’s right to Land and Adequate Housing (AWLAH)

The Sustainable Rural Development Programme – Livelihoods and Equality Advancement in Agriculture Programme (LEAP)

We cooperate with 36 partner organisations in the region, mostly farmers and housing cooperatives with a member base in vulnerable communities. We also collaborate with financial institutions and expert organisations that add value to our work that focuses on changing the situation for the most vulnerable  – women and girls. In addition, we cooperate with other actors in our areas, for example the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
