This programme aims at strengthening the capacities of local cooperatives, cooperative unions, alliances, community based organisations, small scale farmers and their communities, in addressing the needs and rights of their low income members and constituents. The programme mainly addresses rural development issues, environmental sustainability, small business development and gender equality.
In Vietnam the programme is implemented in rural areas of five provinces. The projects are executed by Cooperative Alliances in the participating provinces.
We work with strengthening cooperatives among ethnic minority groups, supporting cooperatives in improving their business capacity and improving internal democracy, service to members and access to markets for cooperatives in several provinces.
