Shirina Pjetri works at the small training centre in Puka, run by We Effect's partner organisation AgroPuka.
Here at the centre, women learn to dry mushrooms and produce jam, compotes and vinegar from locally grown fruits and berries.
– The women are trained in groups of 6-8 people. Then the women spread their knowledge further in their home-villages, Shirina explains.
The produce from the training sessions is sold in the small store connected to the centre and the earnings keep the centre running.
